New Technologies in Medicine need not necessarily mean new devices or instruments in Medical sciences.It is the way we look at things in our present society and which affects us in our daily life,mainly in area of medicine.
Holistic approach to development of new generation of technologies with emphasis on medicine will be beneficial.Drugs,Devices and techniques in medicine and surgery today ,play a vital role.But,continued development is necessary in these areas to meet the ever changing pattern of diseases which afflict humans.
The burgeoning population in present world associated with increase in life expectancy has necessitated a new approach in management of diseases.
