Virtual Reality : Virtual reality can be defined as human interaction in an environment that is simulated by a computer.

The term virtual reality (VR) also refers to a human-computer interface that facilitates highly interactive control over 3 dimensional scenes and their components with sufficient detail so as to evoke a visual response similar to that of real scenes.

Haptics:

Haptics (pronounced HAP-tiks) is the science of applying touch (tactile) sensation and control to interaction with computer applications. (The word derives from the Greek haptein meaning “to fasten.”).
